Personal memory by Jasmine Lopez
2005 • Puerto Rico
The coqui is a type of frog that lives mostly in Puerto Rico. One of the days that we were in Puerto Rico, we were about to go to sleep and I had invited my friend to come down to see Puerto Rico. She got scared because she heard the coqui's singing and she did not know what they were. One of the coqui's came in the house and she got scared. I told her about how we have many of those here and how coqui's start to sing round dawn until morning. Coqui's are really tiny but they hear really loud.
