Personal memory by Cody Burdtte

As a child, going to the beach was one of my favorite things to do. The clear water. The warm sand. Everything about it was so surreal. One year, however, was different. This particular trip opened my eyes to what is really happening. The shores were lined with garbage. No one was on the beach. The water was no longer clear, but a light brown color. At that moment, I understood exactly the direction our world was coming to. This is when I understood exactly what needed to be fixed.
