1992 • Glogova, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The war started around the same time I was born in 1992, it resulted in the deaths of a lot of people and many other problems like landmine filled forests that are too hilly to effectively and safely remove the landmines. This has left our home in ruins only a few meters away from a forest that people are not allowed nor dare to enter. My old home is also meters away from some of the best natural water I have ever had in my life, filtered through the very hills preventing humans from removing their deadly devices.
