Snorkellng In The Caribbean

Personal memory by Ela Spalding

1990Isla Grande, Panama

I remember snorkelling with my family in various beaches of Colón, Panamá. That clear caribbean water and endless amounts of colorful fish and coral reefs - even baby sharks. The last time I went, there were few colors, few fish and few corals. Even though many parts of the Caribbean coast around Colón have lost this magic, I hope that there will still be places that take care of their reefs so I can share that with my kids.
